Here's an update on one of the backgrounds. I've refined the drawing a little, added some detail, and fixed some of the perspective issues. This is as far as I'm taking it before handing it off to my friend Gustavo Mendez to do some killer paintings for me.

Cinnamon Onion Pops

So this is a project I conceived several years ago and held on to the idea until about six months ago when I decided to use it for my special effects class.

All of the character animation was hand drawn on paper, then inked in Flash. The backgrounds and some of the three dimensional elements were done in Maya, while everything was put together in After Effects. All with the help of some of my talented friends.

Just for funzies, here's the original box design I did in 2009 and the new one I did for this project in 2011.
